Three killed, four missing in rain-induced disasters in Dolakha

August 14, Kathmandu: Three people lost their lives and four are still missing in Dolakha district as heavy rainfall has caused havoc, triggering fatal landslides and floods.
Tirish Tamang lost his life in a landslide in Bigu Rural Municipality-2. Similarly, Devi Maya Magar, 50, and one-and-a-half-year-old Prince Thami were also killed in a separate landslide in Gaurishankar Rural Municipality-7 . Krishna Magar, 60, and Harila Shrestha, 49, remain missing.
Meanwhile, Nima Dorje Sherpa, 35, and his 12-year-old son Pasang are still missing after being swept away by a forceful stream in Rakham village.
