TikTok representative Galen calls on Minister Timilsina

Kathmandu: Visiting TikTok representative Emir Galen paid a courtesy call on Minister for Information and Communications, Dr Bikram Timilsina.

During the meeting held at the Ministry, the two exchanged views on digital transformation, economic development, tourism promotion and safe internet use.

The Minister said Nepal is committed to accelerating the digital transformation campaign, adding that social sites like TikTok have been effective means for promoting the socio-economic and cultural lives of Nepali artists, the business community and the public.

Galen expressed commitment to contributing to digital literacy and community development in Nepal via TikTok.
