Minister Khanal, EU Ambassador Whiteley discuss strengthening Nepal-EU ties

KATHMANDU — The newly appointed Ambassador of the European Union to Nepal, Charles Whiteley, paid a courtesy call on Minister for Foreign Affairs Shisir Khanal at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Singha Durbar today.

Foreign Minister Khanal congratulated Ambassador Whiteley on his appointment and extended best wishes for a successful tenure.

During the introductory meeting, the two officials exchanged views on matters of mutual interest and discussed avenues to further strengthen bilateral relations and expand ongoing cooperation between Nepal and the European Union.
