Indian Foreign Secretary Misri to arrive in Nepal tomorrow for two-day official visit

Kathmandu: Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri will undertake a two-day official visit to Nepal on November 4 and 5 at the invitation of Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai.
During his stay in Kathmandu, Foreign Secretary Misri will hold comprehensive bilateral discussions with his Nepali counterpart to review the full spectrum of Nepal-India relations, including development partnerships, energy cooperation, trade, and regional matters of mutual interest. He is also scheduled to pay courtesy calls on high-level Nepali dignitaries and political leadership.
According to officials, the visit comes as both capitals prepare the groundwork for Prime Minister Balendra Shah’s upcoming official visit to India later this month. Both foreign ministries emphasized that the visit reflects the ongoing tradition of regular high-level exchanges aimed at strengthening the long-standing, friendly partnership between the two neighboring nations.
