Korean doctors provide relief materials to flood survivors in Nuwakot
Nuwakot: The Korean Medical Association has provided relief materials to flood-affected families in Nuwakot district.

A team from the Association reached the affected areas and distributed blankets, clothes and other essential items to around 220 flood-affected families in ward no. 1 of Bidur municipality on Sunday.
Team leader Dr Choi Jeong Seob expressed that his team was elated to provide essential supplies to the affected families in view of the approaching winter. Likewise, the medical team also assessed the health condition of the flood survivors in the flood-affected areas following the devastating flood on August 26, according to Rudra Sharma, Coordinator of Nepal-Korea Humanitarian Assistance.
Similarly, Dr Jian, Honorary Consul of Korea to Nepal, said the team had visited the area to assess the post-quake situation.
According to him, the team have pledge further support for the construction of necessary infrastructure during the rehabilitation phase. Narayan Pyakurel, a resident, shared that the Korean team coordinated with the Bidur Municipality and the concerned ward to provide relief supplies worth Rs 2 million.
It may be noted that the Bhotekoshi flood in Rasuwa district had claimed scores of lives and caused massive damaged of proprieties in districts including Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading and Chitwan among others.
