HoR meeting scheduled for 10am today

Kathmandu, Sept 29: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) is scheduled to take place at 10:00am today.

During the meeting, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Sobita Gautam, on behalf of Prime Minister Balendra Shah, will present the National Defense University Bill, 2083.

Minister Gautam will also table a proposal seeking consideration of the Bill to Retrieve Some Provisions of Nepal Act, 2083.

The meeting will also receive a report prepared by the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee on the National Forensics Laboratory (Establishment and Operation) Bill, 2083. The bill, which originated in the National Assembly, will be presented by committee chair Ojwashi Sherchan.

Similarly, Minister for Infrastructure Sunil Lamsal will present the Diploma Engineering Council Bill, 2083 in the House.

Minister for Health and Food Safety Nisha Mehta is scheduled to present a proposal seeking consideration of the Ramraja Prasad Singh Institute of Health Sciences Bill, 2083.

Meanwhile, the Finance Committee and the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee are also scheduled to hold meetings later today.
