RSP Sets Group-wise Attendance Schedule for MPs in House Meetings

Kathmandu, Sept 24: The parliamentary party of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has introduced a group-wise attendance schedule to ensure the regular presence of its lawmakers in the House of Representatives.

According to a notice issued by RSP Chief Whip Kabindra Burlakoti, lawmakers belonging to different groups have been assigned mandatory attendance at parliamentary meetings from today until October 2.

The notice states that MPs who have not been assigned to any group are also required to attend House meetings.

Chief Whip Burlakoti said the presence of all RSP lawmakers in parliamentary meetings is mandatory, except in cases of urgent circumstances.

The party said the arrangement has been made to ensure the effective participation of its lawmakers in parliamentary proceedings.
