‘Elevated understanding a must for constitution’s safeguarding and implementation’

Bagmati: Bagmati province chief Deepak Prasad Devkota has underscored the need for forces active in the implementation of the Constitution to move ahead with a higher-level understanding.

Delivering his message of best wishes on the occasion of Constitution Day today, he said the Constitution has ended all kinds of discrimination and oppression created by a centralized and unitary state system and has brought the diverse Nepali society under the framework of broader national unity.

In the message, he emphasized that it is everyone’s obligation to uphold the main law of the land, and everyone should play their part in their respective areas to make people feel a democratic and welfare-oriented state realizing its spirit. RSS
