PM Shah discusses post-flood situation with people’s representatives
Kathmandu: Prime Minister Balendra Shah is holding discussions with people’s representatives from districts and local levels affected by the Bhotekoshi floods.
The meeting is taking place at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar.
Representatives from 15 disaster-affected local levels and members of the House of Representatives from Nuwakot, Rasuwa, Dhading, Gorkha and Tanahun are participating in the meeting.
The discussions are focused on reviewing the post-flood situation, immediate response measures and reconstruction in the affected areas.
The people’s representatives are briefing the Prime Minister on the situation on the ground, challenges faced by affected communities and measures needed for recovery and reconstruction.
