Putin expresses condolences over loss of lives, properties from flash floods

Kathmandu: Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed his sorrow over the loss of lives and property caused by the Bhotekoshi flash floods.

In a message to President Ram Chandra Paudel and Prime Minister Balendra Shah on Thursday, Russian President Putin expressed his condolences over the numerous victims and severe destruction caused by mudslides and flash floods.

“We share the grief of the friendly Nepali people,” reads Putin’s message.

Putin has expressed his sympathy to the bereaved families and has wished for speedy recovery to all those affected by this disaster, according to the Embassy of Russia in Kathmandu. RSS
