Gandaki Province Assembly Passes Appropriation Bill for FY 2083/84

Gandaki, June 29: The Gandaki Province Assembly has passed the Appropriation Bill for the fiscal year 2083/84 by a majority vote.

The bill, presented by Minister for Economic Affairs Jit Bahadur Sherchan, was endorsed during Sunday’s Provincial Assembly meeting following discussions on the budget allocations for various ministries.

The provincial government had unveiled a budget of Rs 32.99 billion for the upcoming fiscal year on June 15.

Addressing the Assembly, Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pandey said the government had prepared a realistic and implementable budget. He expressed confidence that sufficient financial resources would be available for its effective implementation and assured that there would be no shortage of funds during the next fiscal year.
