PM’s advisor Shah, Saudi Ambassador bid farewell to this year’s first Nepali Hajj pilgrims

May 9, Kathmandu: Prime Minister’s Advisor Asim Shah and Fahad bin Mohammed bin Mnikhr, the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Nepal, bade farewell to the first group of Nepali pilgrims departing for Hajj 1447.

At the farewell ceremony, they expressed happiness regarding the cordial religious, cultural, and mutual relations between Nepal and Saudi Arabia while extending best wishes for a successful, safe, and prosperous journey to all Nepali Muslim pilgrims participating in the Hajj.

The farewell ceremony was also attended by Acting Chairperson of Muslim Commission Mohammadin Ali and Chairman of the Hajj Committee Mukhtar Ahmad.

Also present at the event were First Secretary and Head of the Consular Section at the Saudi Embassy Abdulrahman bin Khalid Al-Ghoshom and Head of the Islamic Affairs Unit Hamad Al-Saiari.

The ceremony marked the departure of the first group of Nepali pilgrims traveling to Saudi Arabia to perform the annual Hajj pilgrimage.
