Government overturns previous decision to transfer National Police Academy land to President’s Office
Kathmandu: The Cabinet meeting has overturned a previous decision to transfer the land of the National Police Academy in Maharajgunj to the President’s Office.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers reviewed and annulled the earlier decision made 7 years ago, which had proposed handing over the academy’s land to the President’s Office.
Government Spokesperson and Minister for Education, Science and Technology Sasmit Pokharel said the earlier arrangement has been formally scrapped following Cabinet review.
The meeting also decided to form a task force to study issues related to software and information technology in government agencies under the coordination of the ICT advisor.
