Court seeks investigation file on leader Khadka’s case
Kathmandu: The Supreme Court has ordered the Department of Revenue Investigation to submit the investigation file on a case involving former minister and Nepali Congress leader Dipak Khadka. Khadka has been arrested on charges of money laundering.

A division bench of justices Til Prasad Shrestha and Shanti Singh Thapa issued the order on Wednesday in response to a habeas corpus writ petition filed by Khadka’s spouse, Binita Thapa.
The Department of Revenue Investigation is ordered to submit the investigation document and written response by midday on Thursday.
The Department has launched an investigation into the property of the leader Khadka.
On Monday, the Department had allowed the security agency to detain the leader Khadka for three days.
Earlier, the Central Investigation Bureau of Nepal Police had arrested former minister Khadka on March 29 in connection with the investigation of his property.
