WB Country Director Sislen calls on Minister Chaudhary

Kathmandu: World Bank Country Director David Sislen paid a courtesy call on Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Gita Chaudhary at her office today.

The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between Nepal and the World Bank in the areas of agriculture and livestock development.

Discussions also covered promoting innovation, improving market management systems, addressing the impacts of climate change, and advancing policy reforms in the agriculture sector, according to the Minister’s Private Secretariat.

The two sides further exchanged views on strengthening nutrition networks and promoting inclusive agricultural development in Nepal, the Secretariat added.
