UML parliamentary party meeting underway in Chyasal

Kathmandu: The parliamentary party meeting of CPN-UML is currently underway at the party’s central office in Chyasal, Lalitpur.

The party said the meeting will elect its parliamentary party leader ahead of the House session starting tomorrow. The chief whip and whips are also set to be selected.

Senior leaders, including the vice-chairman and general secretary, are taking part in the meeting.

The UML has a total of 25 members in the House of Representatives, including nine elected through the first-past-the-post system and 16 under proportional representation.
