U.S. Embassy launches nationwide entrepreneurship program beyond Kathmandu

Nepalgunj, Banke — The U.S. Embassy Nepal has launched a nationwide Entrepreneurship Skill-Building Program aimed at supporting early-stage entrepreneurs across Nepal, starting from Nepalgunj.
Implemented in partnership with International Development Institute and Aadyanta Advisory, the program will reach cities including Dhangadi, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Hetauda, Bhairahawa, and Pokhara.
Around 200 entrepreneurs from all seven provinces will take part in workshops and virtual bootcamps focused on business fundamentals, market validation, investor communication, digital marketing, and export readiness.
“Entrepreneurs are essential to economic growth and innovation,” said Mike Harker, Public Affairs Chief of the U.S. Embassy Nepal, adding that the program aims to help Nepali founders build scalable businesses and strengthen trade ties between Nepal and the United States.
The initiative is part of the U.S.–Nepal Commercial Diplomacy Series, which promotes entrepreneurship, innovation, and private sector growth.
