China congratulates Nepal on HoR election and RSP for victory

Kathmandu, March 21: China has congratulated Nepal on the successful completion of its House of Representatives election, according to a statement reported by Xinhua News Agency.

Speaking at a regular press briefing in Beijing, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said China also congratulates the Rastriya Swatantra Party on becoming the largest party in Nepal’s House of Representatives.

“China stands ready to work with Nepal to carry forward the traditional friendship, deepen practical cooperation and advance bilateral relations,” Lin said.

According to Xinhua, China expressed confidence in further strengthening ties with Nepal based on mutual respect and cooperation.
