Rain, storm in all provinces; rain shifting towards north-east
Kathmandu: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has said it is raining with hailstones in various districts across seven provinces.

The low-pressure system and local wind have impacted the weather in Nepal. Meteorologist at the Department, Hari Prasad Dahal, informed that Makwanpur Gadhi recorded the maximum rainfall, 44.2 millimetres.
The Babarmahal area of Kathmandu had 7.8 millimetres of rainfall, while Kirtipur had 16. 8 millimetres, Dahal added. The rainfall occurring at present is gradually shifting towards the north-east.
However, the storm would continue for nearly three hours, he said, cautioning everyone to stay aware of adverse weather.
Transportation, communications and electricity services would be affected by the rains and storms, Dahal predicted. Everyone is urged to maintain high alertness over the adversity and its impacts.
