RSP Unveils Election Manifesto, Promises Tangible Outcomes Within Five Years

Kathmandu, Feb 15 — The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has released its election manifesto, describing it as a “citizen contract paper” and pledging to deliver measurable results within five years.

Presenting the document, the party said casting a vote for the RSP should be viewed as an investment in the country’s future. The manifesto outlines five key priorities, including integrity and good governance, expansion of the middle-income population, and development of a modern banking system, ensuring financial access for every citizen.

The party has set a target to raise the average per capita income to 3,000 US dollars within five years. It has also pledged to introduce a need-based integrated social security scheme.

Among other commitments, the RSP plans to establish a sovereign diaspora fund and generate 1.2 million new jobs across sectors such as information technology, construction, tourism, agriculture, industry, and services.

The manifesto further promises to increase the country’s installed power capacity to 15,000 megawatts and expand the national highway network to 30,000 kilometres. The party has also committed to completing ten signature national pride projects within five years.

Additionally, the RSP has pledged to introduce an online voting system for Nepalis living abroad.
