ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Global Qualifier: Nepal Opts to Field Against Scotland

Kathmandu, Jan 26 – Nepal has elected to field after winning the toss in the final group-stage match against Scotland at the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Global Qualifier, taking place today at the TU Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.

Both teams are under pressure to secure a spot in the Super Six stage. Nepal’s hopes of progressing will be dashed if Scotland claims victory in this crucial encounter.

So far, Nepal has faced a mixed run in the tournament, losing their opening match to Thailand by eight wickets and narrowly missing out against the Netherlands by just two runs. The team bounced back in their third match with a win over Zimbabwe.

The outcome of today’s match will determine Nepal’s continuation in the global qualifier.
