Nepal Bowls First Against Netherlands in ICC Women’s T20 Global Qualifier

Kathmandu, Jan 22: Nepal has begun bowling against the Netherlands in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Global Qualifier match being played at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

The Netherlands won the toss and elected to bat first.

Nepal is coming into the match after a defeat against Thailand in their previous outing. Meanwhile, the Netherlands has registered wins against Zimbabwe and Scotland and is aiming for their third consecutive victory in the tournament.

A win over Nepal would secure the Netherlands a place in the Super Six stage. In the current ICC Women’s T20 rankings, the Netherlands is placed 14th, while Nepal stands at 21st.
