Toddler Dies After Drowning in Jhapa

Bhadrapur, Dec 29: A three-year-old boy tragically drowned in a water ditch while playing near his home in Jhapa Rural Municipality-2, Jhapa, on Sunday.

The child, identified as Dibansh Kandel, was rushed to Birta City Hospital in Birtamod but succumbed to his injuries during treatment, according to the District Police Office, Jhapa.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Khagendra Bahadur Khadka confirmed that the critically injured toddler passed away while receiving medical care at the hospital.
