Madhesh Province CM Expands Cabinet

Madhesh Province Chief Minister Krishna Prasad Yadav has expanded the Council of Ministers on Sunday.

According to a press release issued by Shatrudhan Yadav, acting secretary at the Office of the Province Chief, the cabinet expansion was made on the recommendation of Chief Minister Yadav. The Chief Minister has retained responsibility for multiple portfolios, including the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, Physical Infrastructure Development, Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives, Sports and Social Welfare, Home, Communications and Law, Forests and Environment, and Labor and Transport.

Under the expanded cabinet, Mahesh Prasad Yadav has been assigned the Ministry of Finance, Jangi Lal Raya the Ministry of Health and Population, Jawahar Lal Kushwaha the Ministry of Energy, Irrigation and Drinking Water, Rani Kumari Tiwari the Ministry of Education and Culture, and Kanish Patel the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism.

The newly appointed ministers took the oath of office and secrecy before the Province Chief during a ceremony held at the Province Chief’s Office today.
