NPL: Lumbini Lions set 144-run target for Sudurpaschim Royals

Kathamndu: Lumbini Lions have set a target of 144 runs for Sudurpaschim Royals in the ongoing match of the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) being played at TU International Cricket Stadium, Kirtipur.

Sudurpaschim, led by Deependra Singh Airee, are aiming for their fourth straight win to strengthen their chances of reaching the playoffs. They are currently at the top of the points table with six points from three wins.

Lumbini, captained by Rohit Kumar Paudel, are looking to end Sudurpaschim’s winning run. Lumbini are placed sixth on the table with just one win so far.

Meanwhile, Janakpur Bolts and Pokhara Avengers will face each other in the second match of the day at 4:00 pm.
