Situation in Simara returning to normalcy: Ministry of Home Affairs

Kathmandu: The Ministry of Home Affairs has stated that the situation in Simra is returning to normalcy.

Issuing a press statement on Wednesday evening, the ministry said that the local administration is taking necessary steps to bring the situation under control and normalise the situation, while maintaining law and order.

The statement issued by the Ministry’s Assistant Spokesperson Rabindra Acharya states that the current government is committed to maintaining law and order in the country and conducting the election on time.

“Mutual dialogue, coordination and cooperation of all sides are indispensable to maintain law and security in the country and conduct the election on the scheduled date.

For this, all parties are required to conduct their respective programs in a peaceful, orderly and dignified manner in coordination with the local administration,” adds the statement.
