Sonapur Mineral pays tariff, gets back power supply

Kathmandu, Nov 12: The Sonapur Mineral and Oil Industry in Ghorahi, Dang, has cleared the first installment of its electricity dues, leading to the restoration of its power supply.

According to the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), the industry paid Rs 8.6 million as the first installment after its power supply had been disconnected following a government directive. The NEA stated that the industry has outstanding dues totaling Rs 242.9 million, which will be settled in 28 installments.
