PM Karki invites seven political parties to discuss on upcoming election

 

Kathmandu, Oct 19: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has invited seven political parties represented in the dissolved House of Representatives to discuss the upcoming election.

The interim government, led by PM Karki, has been mandated to hold the election coming on March 5. The seven political parties have been sent letters officially for a meeting at the PM’s official residence, Baluwatar at 4:00 pm on October 21, said Ram Rawal, Press Coordinator of PM Karki.

Two high-level representatives from each of the seven political parties have been summoned to the discussion, Rawal added. The political parties that are invited for the meeting are- Nepali Congress, CPN (UML), CPN (Maoist Centre), Rastriya Swatantra Party, Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Janamat Party and Nagarik Unmukti Party.
