147 central members furnish suggestions to UML leadership

Kathmandu: A total of 147 central members have put forth their views in the ongoing 10th Central Committee meeting of the CPN UML.

On the second day of the meeting on Thursday, 147 central members expressed their views on the political report presented by party Chairman KP Sharma Oli. The meeting is being held in Jawalakhel, Lalitpur, after the Chyasal-based central office turned into a wreck owing to arson and vandalism during the Gen-Z protest on September 9.

Publicity Department Chief of the party, Rajendra Gautam, informed that each central member was allocated three minutes to respond to the report. On the first day, on Wednesday, 50 central members put forth their views.

After the central members, the office bearers will have their turn to speak on current politics and Chairman Oli’s report. Chairman Oli will furnish response to the suggestions and conclude the meeting.

The central members spoke on current politics, future course of party and protection of democracy. The meeting will begin next at 8:00am Friday.
