Three girls drown to death in Jhapa

Jhapa: Three girls drowned to death while fishing in the Sisne Khola rivulet in Gauradaha Municipality-9 in the district.

According to police, the victims include two daughters of local resident Anju Magar , seven-year-old Sushma and nine-year-old Swikriti, along with 11-year-old Roshni, the daughter of Nirmala Pariyar.

The District Police Office has reported that the girls drowned in the river while fishing. An investigation about the incident is underway, police said.
