300-plus public vehicles leave New Bus Park
Kathmandu, Sept 13: More than 300 public vehicles have left the Kathmandu Valley from the New Bus Park on Saturday.
A large number of public vehicles moved to their destinations across the country after five days of the closure of the bus park in the wake of the Gen-Z Revolt. The General Manager of the Lhotse Multipurpose Pvt Ltd, which runs the New Bus Park, Sunil Kunwar, said that more than 300 public vehicles left Kathmandu with passengers.
He viewed that the public vehicles started moving out of the valley as life returned to normalcy in Kathmandu with the lifting of the curfew here. According to Kunwar, crowds of passengers at the bus park are due to the beginning of the festive season.
However, the pre-ticket booking for the public vehicles is yet to open for the Dashain festival, citing the Gen-Z Revolt.
