Prohibitory order enforced in Bhairahawa and Butwal
Bhairahawa (Rupandehi), Sept 8: The District Administration Office (DAO) has enforced prohibitory order in Bhairahawa and Butwal. The order has come to effect from 4.00 pm afternoon to 10.00 pm in the night.
With the Gen Z protests turning more intense, the prohibitory order has been enforced up to the Rohini River Bridge to the east of Bhairahawa, the Bethari Bridge to the west, Buddha Chowk to the north, and Meudihwa to the south, stated the order issued by the Chief District Officer Tok Raj Pandey.
Similarly, in Butwal, the prohibitory order has been imposed in the area extending 100 metres to the left and right along the Bhairahawa-Butwal road, the petrol pump to the east, Belbas Chowk to the west, Chidiya River to the north, and Mangalapur to the south.
The order has prohibited any form of movement, gatherings, protests, meetings and gherao in the areas mentioned above.
