Korean Food Entrepreneurship training held
Kathmandu, Aug 11: Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Nepal, Park Tae-Young, has said many Nepali youths who returned from work in Korea are been doing good business in their home country.
Concluding a K-Food Entrepreneurship Training organised in coordination of KOICA Nepal and HRD Korea, the Korean Ambassador mentioned that a target has been set to make the trainees entrepreneurs in Nepal.
On the occasion, he shared about the inspirational stories of 50 successful entrepreneurs incorporated in a book published by the Korean Embassy and shared that different types of trainings would guide the new entrepreneurs.
Similarly, Country Director of KOICA Nepal Office, Kong Mooheon, opined that attention has been drawn to make youths, who have experience of employment in Korea, entrepreneurs in the country through different training.
Likewise, Joint-Secretary at the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, Krishna Prasad Sapkota, expressed the belief that Entrepreneurship and Rehabilitation programme launched with the support of Korean government since 2022 would benefit many people.
A total of 15 people had participated in the training launched with an objective of establishing Korean restaurants in Nepal. Food experts of Korea had imparted skills to cook different types of Korean cuisine in the eight-day training.
