PM Oli calls for optimism and action to advance Nepal towards developing nation status
Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has called on young entrepreneurs to remain hopeful and proactive in fulfilling the national aspiration of a “Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepalis.”
Speaking at the Startup Entrepreneurs with the Prime Minister program organized by the Industrial Business Development Foundation at his official residence in Baluwatar today, Prime Minister Oli stressed the importance of optimism and determination to shape Nepal’s future along the path of developing nations.
“We are on track to graduate from the category of least developing countries by 2026. From there, we must aim to become a developed country,” said Prime Minister Oli. “No one else will come and build our country for us—we must do it ourselves.”
Highlighting the role of innovation and technology, he added, “Through the use of technology, infrastructure development, and modernization, we can boost productivity and economic growth. If each of us contributes with a ‘We Can Do It’ spirit, Nepal will certainly achieve its goals.”
