Kathmandu, July 7: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has thanked the Nepali women footballers who succeeded in putting up a fight against the Uzbekistan team, ranked much higher in the FIFA rankings.

The Nepali national women’s football team lost to Uzbekistan by 4-2 in a tie-breaker after the match ended in a 3-3 tie under the AFC Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers held in Uzbekistan on Saturday.
