Major parties came together as per country’s need: Home Minister Lekhak
Baitadi, July 2: Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has said two major parties came together as per the needs of the country.
Minister Lekhak, who arrived in Baitadi on Wednesday, said the Nepali Congress and the CPN (UML) had formed the present coalition government in a bid to meet the national need. He said, “Two big parties formed the ruling alliance, for which we inked a seven-point agreement.
After allying, we have to be honest.” The Minister, however, admitted the problems. The government is engaged in resolving problems, he said, stating that all sorts of hope could not be fulfilled at a time. The government is committed to fulfilling public demand and hopes gradually, he assured. Togetherness is imperative for addressing public disenchantment, the Minister stressed.
Lekhak viewed the government’s decision to build Nepal’s first health science university at Geta in Kailali as a positive initiative for the development of Sudurpaschim Province.
