SEE results reflect improvement, diligence: PM Oli

Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said the improvement in secondary education examination (SEE) was possible due to the diligence of students and teachers.

Addressing the House of Representatives meeting today, PM Oli informed that efforts would be made for further improvement in SEE results in the years ahead. The PM extended best wishes to all students and teachers for better performance.

‘It is a matter of happiness to achieve progress in SEE results after a long time. It is worth mentioning that the pass percentage increased to 61.81 percent from below 48 percent,’ PM Oli shared.

He, however, expressed worry over some comments made on the pass percentage, which, he argued, belittled the diligent students. The negative comments insult the new generation, the PM added.

The Head of the Government mentioned that the government had readied the preparation for rescue and relief to the disaster survivors in the wake of monsoon disasters.

‘Our country is prone to natural disasters. It is difficult to project how and where a disaster occurs. So, we have intensified preparedness accordingly,’ Oli reminded.
