On Air Station:

Pokhara-Jomsom flight suspended for two months

Mustang, June 26: Private airlines have decided to suspend the Pokhara-Jomsom flights for two months due to the declining number of passengers on the route during the rainy season.

Tara Airlines’ Jomsom station in-charge, Sujan Lalchhan, said that the company has decided to suspend its flights for two months from June 16. Tara Airlines has been regularly operating flights on this route.

According to him, Tara Airlines will resume flights from the first week of September. “Due to a low number of passengers and adverse weather conditions, Tara Airlines has suspended flights,” he clarified. Likewise, Summit Airlines has also announced the suspension of this route for two months from July 4.

Suman Thakali, the station in-charge of Summit Airlines in Jomsom, said the decision was taken to suspend the Pokhara-Jomsom flight for two months, citing a lower number of passengers.
