Flood alert in Bhotekoshi River: Sindhupalchok administration urges vigilance

Sindhupalchowk:  The District Administration Office, Sindhupalchok, has issued a flood alert, urging residents living near the Bhotekoshi and Sunkoshi rivers to remain vigilant until July 4.

The warning follows information received from the Chinese Police Office, indicating a potential risk of significant flooding in the Bhotekoshi River. In response, the administration has called for heightened caution in areas surrounding both the Bhotekoshi and Sunkoshi rivers.

Communities considered most at risk include Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality, Bahrabise Municipality, Tripurasundari Rural Municipality, Sunkoshi Rural Municipality, Balefi Rural Municipality, and Chautara Sangachokgadhi Municipality. The administration has urged all residents in these areas to stay alert and take necessary precautions.
