PM Oli highlights strong public trust in Public Service Commission’s impartiality

Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has affirmed that the Public Service Commission (PSC) continues to enjoy strong public trust due to its impartial and competent functioning.

Speaking at a special event marking the Commission’s Diamond Jubilee, Prime Minister Oli praised the PSC’s role in recruiting qualified personnel for the civil service, security forces, and other organized sectors. He commended the Commission’s efforts to uphold fairness, integrity, and meritocracy in its selection processes.

“I am pleased to learn that the Commission is advancing its examination system to be more technology-friendly and efficient in selecting human resources who align with the aspirations of Nepal and its people,” Oli stated.

He emphasized the need for relevant authorities to support the Commission in becoming more resourceful and technologically equipped. “The government stands ready to facilitate this process and ensure the implementation of recommendations from the Commission’s annual reports,” he added.

The ceremony, held in the presence of President Ram Chandra Poudel as chief guest, also saw Prime Minister Oli express confidence that the Commission would continue to inspire national service—particularly among the youth—by maintaining its standards of impartiality, integrity, and competence.
