Upcoming monetary policy will address economic challenges: NRB Governor Paudel

Dhangadhi: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Governor Dr. Bishwanath Paudel said the upcoming monetary policy would focus on addressing economic challenges and initiating reforms.

Speaking at a program organized by NRB’s Dhangadhi branch on Monday, Governor Paudel informed that he had engaged with local business leaders, borrowers, and stakeholders to understand their concerns.

He stated that recent economic issues would be reviewed and appropriate corrective measures would be taken.

He mentioned that the policy would be designed based on the concerns of the public and stakeholders.

He also highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperation between financial institutions and the business community to stimulate the national economy.
