UML’s parliamentary party meeting concludes
Kathmandu, April 26: The meeting today of the parliamentary party of the CPN (UML) has ended with a four-point conclusion.
The meeting held at the federal parliament building in Baneshwor concluded that the parliamentary party leader and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli would direct all members of parliament to work efficiently, keeping the parliamentary work and responsibilities as a priority.
The party’s Chief Whip, Mahesh Bartaula, said that the meeting concluded that the country’s policies, plans and issues of national importance would be effectively raised through the parliament, considering the country’s nationality, independence, sovereignty, national unity, social harmony and tolerance.
According to him, the meeting concluded that the UML parliamentary party and members should take effective initiatives to conclude the school education bill, federal civil bill and other pending bills in parliament as soon as possible.
“We have decided to play a vibrant role to promote parliamentary values, culture and rules in the parliament while establishing the parliament as a place of creative and constructive debate,” Chief Whip Bartaula said.
