Gold price sets new record, trading at Rs 197,900 per tola

April 22. Kathmandu: Today, the price of gold has risen by Rs 6,900 per tola (11.66 grams), reaching a new record. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold is currently being traded at Rs 197,900 per tola, up from Rs 191,000 on Monday.

The rise in the price of gold in the international market has had a direct impact in the domestic market as well. The gold price has continuously increased for the past few days.

Gold is being traded at 3,479 US dollars per ounce in the international market today.
