U.S. Embassy launches Creator’s Mela 2025, starting today in Itahari
April 5, Kathmandu: The U.S. Embassy in Nepal has announced the return of Creator’s Mela, a conference for digital creators, with its first regional event starting today, April 5, in Itahari. After two editions in Kathmandu, the event expands to Pokhara on April 12, offering resources to creators beyond the capital.
Themed “Build. Brand. Boost.,” Creator’s Mela 2025 gathers influencers, entrepreneurs, and content creators for workshops, discussions, and networking. Participants gain tools, mentorship, and AI insights to turn creativity into careers.
“This event is about empowering content creators—helping them grow, connect, and develop the tools they need to succeed,” said U.S. Ambassador Dean R. Thompson. “The U.S. Embassy is proud to organize the Creator’s Mela because we believe in the power of digital media to open doors and create opportunities—not just for individuals but for entire communities.”
Mike Harker, Public Affairs Chief, said, “The growing collaboration between the United States and Nepal in the creator economy reflects a shared belief in the transformative power of storytelling, innovation, and entrepreneurship.”
Linking creators with industry leaders and platforms, Creator’s Mela 2025 fosters entrepreneurship and jobs, aiding Nepal’s digital economy.
With Itahari’s event starting today, Pokhara creators can register for April 12 to join.
