NA passes Bill Related to Good Governance, Public Service Delivery

Kathmandu: A meeting of the National Assembly (NA) today passed the ‘Bill to Amend Some Nepal Acts Related to Promotion of Good Governance and Public Service Delivery, 2081’ by a majority.

Chairman of the upper house of the Federal Parliament, Narayan Prasad Dahal, informed the house that the Bill has been endorsed.

On behalf of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Minister for Communications and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung presented a proposal seeking discussion on the bill in the House.

The proponents of the amendment on the Bill said there was not enough discussion on the bill. Lawmakers Tul Prasad Bishwakarma, Bishnu Bahadur Bishwakarma, Dr Beduram Bhusal, Ganga Kumari Belbase, Radheshyam Paswan and Rajendra Laxmi Gaire took part in the discussions.

Responding to the questions raised in the discussions, Minister Gurung said that the questions were worthy of consideration and the working procedure could be formulated during the implementation.
