One dead and nine injured in microbus accident in Nagdhunga
Kathmandu, March 23: A passenger died and nine others were injured in a microbus accident in Chandragiri municipality-2, Nagdhunga, this evening.
Sabina Gurung, aged around 25-26, died when the microbus (Ga 1 Kha 5546) en route to Kathmandu from Chitwan collided with the roadside box. The deceased’s identity has yet to be ascertained.
Gurung, who was seriously injured in the accident, died while undergoing treatment at the Trauma Centre in Kathmandu, the spokesperson of the District Police Range, Kathmandu, and Superintendent of Police Apil Raj Bohara informed.
According to him, nine people were injured in the accident. Some of them are undergoing treatment at the Trauma Centre, and some are receiving treatment at Annapurna Neuro Hospital, Maitighar.
The microbus driver was taken under control, police said. —RSS
