Ambassador Oli pays courtesy call on Cambodian Prime Minister
Kathmandu, Feb 8: Dhan Bahadur Oli, the non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Nepal to the Kingdom of Cambodia, paid a courtesy call on Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, at the Peace Palace in Phnom Penh on Friday.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister congratulated Ambassador Oli and expressed satisfaction with the excellent bilateral relations between the two countries.
He also wished for further strengthening of these relations by activating bilateral mechanisms in areas such as trade, investment, and tourism.
The Prime Minister assured his full support to Ambassador Oli in his endeavours to elevate bilateral relations during his tenure.
Ambassador Oli conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, as well as from the people of Nepal, for the Cambodian Prime Minister’s good health and happiness, and the continued progress and prosperity of the people of Cambodia, according to a press release issued by the embassy.
Meanwhile, Ambassador Oli also held courtesy meetings with Chay Borin, Minister of Cults and Religion; UN Kheang, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation; Chhay Makara, Director General of the Department of Asia-Pacific; and Tho Samnang, Director General of the Department of Legal, Consular, and Border Affairs. The discussions covered various aspects of bilateral relations and mutual benefits.
