Fire at Ministry of Water Supply brought under control

Kathmandu: A fire that broke out at the Ministry of Water Supply and Sanitation in Singha Durbar, Kathmandu has been brought under control. According to Singha Durbar Police, the fire broke out on the fourth floor of the Ministry of Water Supply and Sanitation at 7:45 am this morning.

The office of the Minister of Water Supply and Sanitation was also located on that floor. Chief of Singha Durbar Security Battalion, Deputy Superintendent of Police Dinesh Ghimire informed that the fire was brought under control with the help of fire engines.

The Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport is also located inside the ministry building. The cause of the fire and the details of the damage caused by the fire in three rooms are not yet known.
