Bill relating to police organizations registered at federal parliament
Kathmandu: The bill designed to amend and integrate the Act related to the Nepal Police and Armed Police Force has been registered at the federal parliament secretariat on Tuesday.
Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak informed that both the bills were registered at the federal parliament by obtaining approval from the cabinet after necessary consultation with and consensus of stakeholders.
The minister added that the bill was presented to the parliament for amendment and revision, emphasizing the need to make the police organizations well-managed, consolidated, and active.
