President Poudel emphasizes respect for labor, calls for economic growth
December 31, Kathmandu: President Ram Chandra Poudel has underscored the significance of respecting labour and the labour force, emphasizing doing so is crucial for propelling the nation towards its desired economic and physical development.
Addressing the Sixth Labor Parliament organized by the Joint Trade Union Coordination Center in Kathmandu on Tuesday, President Poudel asserted that Nepal’s development was not solely about economic and physical growth but also intrinsically linked to the human aspect. He highlighted that the mobilization of natural resources, capital, and assets was largely driven by the working class.
The President also called for a more inclusive and equitable approach to economic growth.
